Dafia is very special in that it is woven in a technique that gives the ribbon almost double thickness comparing to other woven ribbons available with our leather bracelets. It also has the pattern visible on both outer and inner surface of the woven ribbon. The handwoven pattern, at a closer look, seems to have a bit ragged lines but that is how this type of weave looks like. To make such a bracelet I need at least 120 strong long tail hairs. If your horse doesn’t have multicolor tail to weave a particular pattern, you can always choose “random” pattern which results in solid black ribbon in case of black tail, plain chestnut ribbon in case of chestnut horsehair, etc. You can also leave us a note while checking out the online store that you want us to use some stock hair to compose with your horse’s hair to make a visible pattern. The choice is all yours 😉
These bracelets do look elegant and are very durable so you can wet it with no fear of damage.
