Most frequent questions and answers
All depends on how fast your horse’s hair arrive at my studio. The whole process usually takes between 2 and 6 weeks. After I receive the horsehair from you I need about a week to weave and finish your bracelet. UPS courier delivery time varies according to the continent – 2-3 days within Europe and 3-5 days to North America.
We cannot guarantee delivery times as shipping times does not include possible customs processing delays or Covid-19 shipping problems.
Yes. You can choose “Pay Later” option while checking out . It means you will be asked to pay for the ordered product after I receive your horse’s hair and after I finish the woven ribbon but before I finish the whole bracelet.
You can also order a bracelet by choosing option “custom request” in Etsy shop (left side under the categories, unfortunately this button is not visible on mobiles). This will not lead you to the checkout but let me create a private sale for you in the future. Starting a conversation through Etsy gives the same result. So whether you choose the “custom request” button or just start a conversation you will be asked to pay after you send horsehair to me and after I finish my work.
At the moment, due to the coronavirus situation around the world, we only offer UPS courier service. The cost may vary depending on the destination country from 10€ to 35€.

According to EU law only non-personalized items can be returned for a refund (which means “ready made” bracelets and those made from our stock hair). However, you can cancel the order before we actually receive the hair from your horse and we will offer you a refund then. For detailed procedure please read our Terms and Conditions.
At the moment we do not offer any kind of gift vouchers.
No, only tail hair is suitable for weaving a bracelet.
Yes, please do it. We recommend you to pre-wash it for hygenic reasons. Let us get to know your horse from this better “cleaner” side 😉
Please remember to dry hair entirely before putting it into plastic bag or an envelope (it can get mouldy before it arrives at my studio)
It pretty much depends on you – when and where you wear it, 🙂
Horsehair is handwoven by me forming a flat ribbon attached later to a leather strip with the help of metallic bars and clasp. The ribbon is not glued to the leather along the bracelet to let it “breathe” freely. I want to limit the interference with your horse’s hair to the minimum needed to make the bracelet durable. The leather base works as a “safety shield” for the weave, it protects the woven horsehair from brushing against the skin. The woven ribbon is very solid itself so unless you deliberately cut it or try to pull it out of clasps nothing bad should happen to it during everyday use.
Although horsehair weave and leather are natural materials and bracelets are meant to be worn, soaking leather bracelets is not a good idea. Accidental splashes or some drizzle are not harmful but showering might deform the leather. If it gets dusty just clean it with soft cloth, don’t use any detergents. Bracelets which are only horsehair can be wet.
